On Experts...

 

Experts aren’t. Well, they are within their very well-defined fortress, but they aren’t when new things crop up outside. Never mind, they have their cannons primed, ready to defend their hard-won credibility. To be fair, there are some experts who are very creative and push the walls outwards, but these are often those new to their field and who do not have a vested interest in keeping things as they are.
